One of the most desirable natural fibre known to mankind for several decades, India is the largest consumer of silk and the second largest producer of the fibre. Bulk of the silk is sold in the filament form drawn from cocoons which makes the product expensive and difficult to blend with other fibres to create fashion. Rajvir Industries Ltd has taken the initiative to develop spun silk and blends of spun silk with cotton, wool, modal, micro modal and polyester in various blends of silk ranging from 5% to 50% and offering it as multiple range of products in various forms including raw white, spun silk, blends of spun silk with Modal, micro/modal and cotton, blends of silk in the mélange / heather route, silk blends in the synthetic route as well.
